Sometimes when I'm browsing online, and I see something I love, I know exactly how I want to style the piece in an instance. My style can change depending on my mood, the day, or any other little factor. But one of my favorite looks is romantic. Meaning flowy fabric, feminine cut, sexy-without-effort. That type of romantic look. 

I love the asymmetrical detail of the dress- since one side is off-the-shoulder- it gives the look a really updated and fresh feel. The waist is cinched in perfectly to give your body some shape, and the floral details have a velvet finish which makes them pop even more. Obsessed with this dress, can you tell? Lol!

For my makeup, I wanted to dip into a shade of lipstick that was in the same hue as the dress. That's one of my favorite things to do when I want to keep the rest of my makeup light and fresh. I like to go with a deeper shade of lipstick that's still wearable. This one is by Marc Jacobs Beauty in the shade "Truth or Bare," and it's one of my absolute must-haves.

I was hesitant to try it out since it's a liquid lipstick and 95% of the time they just don't work for me. But this formula is something else! It's pigmented and long-lasting without drying out my lips and doesn't dry to a complete matte. My lips still have a nice healthy sheen to them, and as it wears off throughout the night, it fades into this gorgeous stain that I can't get enough of.

My hair I definitely can't take credit for! My amazing hairdresser @alldolledupbyd just colored it and styled it that day! I love how the effortless soft waves went perfectly with the look I had in mind.

This was my first time wearing Ale by Alessandra- created by the stunning Alessandra Ambrosio- and I'm already eyeing more pieces by her. One of my favorite looks from this summer for sure! Xo
